Maker Mondays will not be using analytics or cookies to collect data. 

Maker Mondays is hosted on a third party platform call Wix.comWix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to offer Maker Mondays to you. Your data will be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

Wix uses what they class as essential cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a site visitor's browser. They are typically used to keep track of the settings users have selected and actions they have taken on a site.  Cookies that are used by Wix are used to:

 

  • To provide a great experience for visitors and customers.

  • To monitor and analyse the performance, operation and effectiveness of Wix's platform.

We are committed to making our website accessible so that it can be used by as many people as possible. 

This statement applies to content published within www.makermondays.co.uk

The Maker Mondays website is built on the WIX platform and has been created for Stirling Council schools.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • Zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen

  • Navigate our website regardless of device/screen size used

  • Navigate all forms using just a keyboard

  • Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard

Maintaining this standard is an exercise in continuous delivery. We use the third party, and World Wide Web Consortium (w3c) partner, SiteImprove and WebAIM WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool, to continually analyse and improve our website.
