In 2021/22 we worked in collaboration with Brave Times to create a collaborative COP26 challenge: It's 2040, which you can find out more about below.

Maker Mondays will be back with a new challenge on Monday 5th September 2022.

We are excited that we will be launching our new challenge with Ostrero
Ostrero are working to grow the Circular Economy in Scotland through mindset change and education.

More information will be available here on Monday 5th September 2022.

What is Maker Mondays?

Maker Mondays aims to encourage creative thinking by introducing the use of design thinking processes to help pupils solve problems and challenges with confidence.

How does it work?

Each school term we will present a challenge. Pupils have until the end of that term to respond to the challenge with their thinking and final idea.

What is Design Thinking?

Design Thinking is a creative thinking process and approach to empathising, learning, collaboration and problem solving. There are 5 stages to help you form structured ideas.

From each challenge we select 20 ideas and upload them to our gallery. Check out some of the great ideas coming out of Stirling schools.
